Sony has partnered up with one of the main players in the safe disposal of waste, Waste Management. In it's commitment to tackle the issue of redundant electronic waste Sony has initiated schemes to allow Sony customers to do their bit for the environment.
One such scheme is for Sony laptops, which offers the customer a Trade in cash back offer for their old laptop when purchasing a new Sony laptop. The customer can take advantage of this in 2 ways:
Firstly you can visit the Sony website and trade it in online while purchasing your new laptop. The Trade in credit will be applied to you order once the laptop has been received and assessed.
Secondly you can visit a Sony franchised store in which you can take your old Sony Laptop along have it assessed in store and receive you cash back credit immediately to you new Sony laptop purchase.
Alternatively in conjunction with Waste Management Sony provides sites for secure disposal of any Sony electrical product. All the customer needs to do is take their redundant Sony electrical products to these sites and drop them off.
It is a simple as that for Sony customers to do their bit in reducing the millions of pounds worth of electronic items that are not been recycled each year.
